Introducing Alumni Square
The Alumni Association recently unveiled Alumni Square, a beautification project outside the RHS Little Theater. This new gathering space will welcome alumni during Homecoming Weekend, class reunions, graduation, and other visits to campus, while also providing students with a place to meet, study, and connect.
Alumni Square will also honor and remember classmates
who are no longer with us through commemorative blue stone memorial pavers, tree plantings, and benches. The capital campaign continues through summer 2026, with installation planned for fall 2026 and a ribbon cutting celebration the morning of Saturday, October 24th.

We invite alumni and friends of RHS to help bring this vision to life. In addition to individual donations, you can leave a lasting legacy by purchasing a commemorative memorial paver, dedicating a tree, or sponsoring a bench. Every gift helps transform Alumni Square into a welcoming gathering place while honoring the people and memories that make Ridgewood High School so special.
Memorial Pavers
As part of the vision for Alumni Square, the Alumni Association felt it was important to honor alumni who are no longer with us. A memorial paver provides a lasting tribute to their lives and legacies, engraved with their name and graduation year.
Alumni Square Dedications
In loving memory of those we’ve lost. Alumni Square honors the lives and legacies of alumni who are no longer with us. View the list of alumni memorialized by their classmates, friends, and family.
Tree Dedication
Honor the memory of a classmate with the lasting gift of a beautiful tree that will grace Alumni Square for generations. Each tree includes an engraved plaque at its base with a personalized inscription.
Bench Sponsorship
The benches currently located in the future Alumni Square footprint are reaching the end of their lifespan and will soon be replaced. The new benches will be built from durable, long-lasting materials and will include a back plate honoring each donor’s contribution.
